Day 1
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorge
Pick up after breakfast from your Riad / Hotel in Marrakech to travel over the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n Tichka pass. We will have time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes and to visit the argon oil cooperative. We will stop for lunch and to visit at UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. After lunch we will pass through Ouarzazate and many Berber villages sprinkling the Skoura oasis and Meela M’Gouna, the ‘Valley of the Roses’ on our way to Dades Gorge. We will arrive late afternoon for accommodation and dinner in a traditional hotel.
Day 2
Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
After breakfast and a short drive to Todra Gorge, the massive fault dividing the High Atlas Mountains. We will take a walk to see the sheer rock walls that rise to 300 m in the narrowest parts before continuing to Merzouga. We will arrive late afternoon to our Erg Chebbi hotel and prepare for departure on the camels. We will take a 1h camel ride to see the sunset on top of the dunes before arriving to the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine, drink delicious mint tea and listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert. We will spend the night in a traditional nomad tent.
Day 3
